This project utilizes small multicolored balls throughout the performance piece. Screenprinted onto the balls is the word, “habitos” (habits), using oil paint. The balls are thrown and strike my body, and the word begins to smear and transfer onto my skin. As the action of being hit repeats, the word begins to fill up on my body.  The gradual accumulation of ink functions as a visual and physical connection to the weight small actions can build up over time.
